It all began with a love for the egg sandwich and the versatility of the egg. It hatched into New York-based Egg Shop, complete with a menu of punny monikers like Hot Chix, the Fish Out of Water and Spandex made with sunny-side up, hard boiled and poached eggs, respectively.
We love pizza here at LloydPans, and Una Pizza Napoletana pizza restaurant offers the Apollonia. Why are we eggs-ploring the pizza in an egg blog, you ask? Because this one not only includes buffalo mozzarella, salami, extra virgin olive oil and fresh basil, but it’s also topped with fresh eggs.
The Daily Meal called this restaurant in New Orleans one that “just might serve the best brunch in America,” complete with the best dish arguably on the menu: the cochon de lait eggs Benedict. For 12 hours, pork shoulder is cooked, then shredded and put on a buttermilk biscuit in a pool of mushroom-based sauce forestiere. Two poached eggs are ladled with tasso-infused hollandaise sauce, and we already can see why the restaurant is named Commander’s Palace.
How do you want your eggs? You want them with the LloydPans Egg Pan, of course! Our Egg Pans are designed for both combi and speedbake ovens, and with testing, they also cook well in conveyor and infrared ovens. Get crackin’!
