The name itself seems contradictory. Grilling is done on the grill. Baking is done in the oven. How could you have an oven grill pan? Well, our food solutions experts are quite brilliant, and they devised a way to impart grill marks on a variety of proteins and sandwiches in conventional, conveyor, speed cook and infrared ovens.

This is a game-changer for any restaurant that lacks the space for a grill or just wants an easier way to create grill marks sans the grill.

The innovative pan technology that allows us to add grill marks to proteins starts with our proprietary Dura-Kote permanent, easy-release coating. This coating has a very dark color, which allows it to heat quickly and maintain the high temperatures needed to sear a protein and add grill marks. In fact, the pan is heat safe up to 700°F and can even be used at ovens operating at 900°F when the pan is removed from the oven between bakes.

We offer two types of oven grill pans, each with its own specialty when it comes to grilling in an oven. Our standard oven grill pan works perfectly on sandwiches, meats and vegetables. With just a simple pre-heat, this pan will impart bold, linear grill marks in conveyor and conventional ovens.

If you’re looking for a more intensive diamond grill pattern, our diamond grill pans provide the crossed pattern of a perfectly grilled and flipped steak. Even better, the pan performs in a variety of oven types, including combi, speed-bake, convection, conveyor and infrared oven. Everyone from restaurants to food service institutions to pizzerias to home chefs can obtain perfect grill marks without the grill.
