What’s a Grandma pizza and why is everyone starting to make them?
October 30, 2017

October is always a busy month for us at LloydPans. Holiday orders are starting to ramp up and we’ve got two great shows to attend. Exhibiting at trade shows is one of our favorite things, as it gives us the opportunity to showcase our pans to potential new customers, and talk to some of our longstanding customers.

Trade shows also allow us to promote some of our newest pans and technologies, and we’re thrilled to be talking about a couple new products at these upcoming shows.

Pizza & Pasta Northeast: October 17-18 in Atlantic City, Booth #409

We’ll be joining more than 150 pizza industry suppliers at the Northeast’s largest pizza and pasta trade show. And, we’re coming with our latest new pan! Grandma-Style Pizza has been in the news quite a bit recently, and many are predicting the buzz around these square or rectangular pizzas to continue to grow.

Our team of food solutions experts has been working hard engineering and testing the ultimate Grandma Pizza Pans, and we’ll be displaying it at Pizza & Pasta Northeast. Our Grandma Style Pizza Pan is an inch deep with 76° angled sides and finished with our proprietary PSTK® coating. The pan’s advantages are numerous:

  • Nesting for easy storage and stacking
  • Built for durability
  • Bakes faster than steel pans
  • No pre-seasoning required
  • Easy depanning/cleaning

NACS Show 2017: October 17-20 in Chicago, Booth #789

While some of our team will be in Atlantic City for Pizza & Pasta Northeast, we’ll also have a large contingent in Chicago for NACS Show 2017, which is the largest tradeshow for the convenience industry. In addition to our complete line of pizza pans and tools, we’ll also be showcasing our growing food service pan catalog.

A recent big seller been our flatbread pans built exclusively for different types of ovens and styles of flatbread. We have both rectangle and oval flatbread pans, with or without perforations.

If you’re attending either show, please stop by and say hello!
